    What the heck is the GG&G Mossberg 940 JM PRO Replacement Accessory Capable Extension Nut and why do I need it?

    Because of the Mossberg 940 JM PRO forearm design and the relationship between it and the magazine tube extension nut, the standard method of front accessory mounting, like sling attachments, or light mounts, is not possible with the factory set up.

    The Mossberg 940 JM PRO shotgun has great features. We understand it was designed for the competition shooter. However, why not offer the shooter the option for an accessory upfront. By the way, the mag tube is slotted for a barrel clamp but it doesn't have one. The GG&G Replacement Extension Nut is a bit more sturdy and more robust than the factory nut.
