    Product Review: Gave this new UTG mount a shot, been happy with the older MTU-016 but this new mount MTUAK01 is superior IMHO. Sits about 2mm above the top of the receiver cover (about 50% closer than the MTU016) and where the MTU016 was about 1.5mm right of center on both my MAK90 and Saiga 308, the MTUAK01 is nearly perfectly centered and allows a good clear view of the irons, as well as can be seen under an optic. The side mount is closer to the side of the receiver and less bulky, the latch swings smoothly and secures with a spring loaded ball detent. I haven't shot either rifle with it yet but I can't find any fault so far , really pleased. Wish it were made in USA like the MTU016, it's Chinese, but definitely a quality piece of work with UTG's lifetime warranty. Getting another.
